Privacy policy

Under Bridges Entity (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for personal information processed by Savings Edit, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

• Account: email address, display name, home city and province.
• Preferences: stores, categories, sizes, and Deal Radar filters you set.
• Location: your device location, when you allow it, to sort nearby deals and centre your radars. You can decline and still use the app.
• Content: photos and details of deals you post as a spotter, saves, going taps, confirmations, reports, grocery list items, and loyalty card numbers you choose to store.
• Technical: push notification tokens and basic usage events.

Why we process it

To run the service: showing deals near you, sending the alerts you asked for, reviewing posted content, showing your cards at the till, and improving the product. We do not sell personal information.

Who processes it

Data is hosted by Supabase and pushes are delivered via Expo. Sign-in emails are sent via Resend. Deal photos are stored privately and served through expiring links.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your information. Deleting your account inside the app (Profile, Delete account) permanently removes your profile, posts, photos, saves, radars, lists, and cards. You may also contact hello@savingsedit.co.za, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

Retention

We keep information while your account exists. Deleted accounts are removed immediately from live systems.
